Jafza Expands Automotive Ecosystem with New Hellmann-INDU Logistics Hub

Shipping Arabia, June 11, 2026 — Hellmann Worldwide Logistics and INDU Group have broken ground on a new automotive logistics hub in Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza), further strengthening Dubai’s position as a key gateway for automotive trade and spare parts distribution across the Gulf region, Africa, and international markets.
The new facility, spanning nearly 300,000 square feet, is designed to support the growing demand for efficient and resilient automotive supply chains. It will provide specialized infrastructure for handling automotive spare parts, including high-density bin storage, pallet racking systems, and dedicated areas for oversized and bulky components.
Developed by INDU Logistics, part of INDU Group, the facility will serve as a dedicated automotive hub within Hellmann Worldwide Logistics’ Middle East network, supporting high-volume distribution and scalable logistics operations.
Lee I’Ons, Regional CEO IMEA at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, said the UAE remains a strategically important market within the company’s global network. He noted that the new automotive hub in Jafza will expand regional capabilities and provide industry-focused infrastructure capable of supporting customers’ long-term growth while delivering high-performance logistics solutions.
Abdulla Al Hashmi, Chief Operating Officer of Parks and Economic Zones at DP World, said the investment reflects the rapid growth of the automotive sector across the Middle East, where customers increasingly require faster and more reliable access to critical spare parts across multiple markets. He added that continued investment in specialized logistics infrastructure supports operational resilience and supply chain efficiency.
The project comes amid rising demand for dedicated automotive logistics facilities as supply chains become more complex and increasingly time-sensitive. Jafza continues to play a pivotal role in facilitating trade flows between Europe, Asia, and Africa through its integrated infrastructure, multimodal connectivity, and direct access to Jebel Ali Port.
The addition of the new hub further strengthens Jafza’s growing ecosystem of automotive, logistics, and trading companies, reinforcing its position as a regional center for specialized, high-value supply chains and advanced logistics services.
