Saudi Arabia Explores Investment Opportunities at JCPDI Port

Shipping Arabia, July 16, 2026 – Saudi Arabia is exploring opportunities to support further investment and development at Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries Port as part of broader efforts to expand the Kingdom’s logistics capabilities, facilitate international trade and promote industrial growth.
The port hosted Saudi Arabia’s assistant minister of investment for discussions focused on its ongoing development, operational capabilities and potential investment opportunities.
The visit highlighted the strategic role of JCPDI Port in connecting industrial activities with global markets and supporting the growth of integrated supply chains. Discussions also addressed opportunities to strengthen cooperation and attract investment that could contribute to the continued development of the port and the wider logistics ecosystem.
Located on Saudi Arabia’s southern Red Sea coast, JCPDI Port serves the industrial and commercial activities of Jazan City for Primary and Downstream Industries and forms part of the Kingdom’s expanding network of maritime and logistics infrastructure.
The port is operated by Hutchison Ports Jazan, which said the discussions reflected continued support for developing Saudi Arabia’s investment and logistics ecosystem and creating opportunities for future collaboration.
The development of port infrastructure and integrated logistics services remains a key component of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the national economy, improve trade connectivity and strengthen the Kingdom’s position as a global logistics hub.
